ABOUT OUR FARM
Four years in the making, we wanted to plant lots of fruit and vegetables for our neighbors and family to enjoy. Getting the infrastructure in place and preparing the soil was a major undertaking. The soil at Father and Son Farm has never been turned as far as I could tell. We make our own mulch and compost and source some locally. Father and Son Farm recycles all of the waste either into compost or to the chickens. All of the food grown on the farm is grown by organic standards but we chose not to pursue an organic certification. Some of our crops are grown in high tunnels to extend the growing season. Our goal is to produce the freshest and finest varieties of vegetables and fruit naturally for our neighbors in the Roseville and Rocklin & LincolnCommunities.
